Rail Business at Transit Speed

As part of the Munich Transport Logistic 2017 trade fair, a conference called Rail Business at Transit Speed, was held on May 10, 2017. At the conference representatives of the European (Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Slovakia, etc.), Russian and Kazakhstan railway companies and representatives of several private companies presented the conditions of transportation over the rail corridors between Asia and Europe, especially over the Russian Trans-Siberian railway route. They dealt with the possibilities of financing infrastructure projects, improving the logistic processes, deploying digital technologies and electronic services, and removing the obstacles that obstruct the smooth flows of goods by rail.

At the conference ZSSK CARGO was represented by its CEO, Ing. Martin Vozár, MBA, who presented the company's services and products, the structure of commodities in rail freight, the transhipping services at the Eastern Slovak Transshipment Yards, the rolling stock maintenance and repair services, the availability of motive power units and the wagon fleet.
