RFF - Noah´s train - Vienna

Rail Freight Forward (RFF) is a coalition of European Rail Freight Companies. ZSSK CARGO is also a member of the RFF coalition. Its aim is to reduce the negative impact of freight transport on our planet and also increasing the share of rail freight to 30%.

On January 14. 2019, a briefing of members of the RFF coalition took place in Vienna at the Westbahnhof Station, attended by Martin Vozar, CEO of ZSSK CARGO. The meeting was also attended by Austrian President Alexander van der Bellen, Federal Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology Norbert Hofer, ÖBB CEO Andreas Matthä, and other
CEOs of Railways.

Noah's Train is not only the longest mobile artwork in the world, but also the synonym for environmentally friendly rail transport. Noah's Train is inspired by the oldest history of environmental protection. The container train, artistically designed with animal motifs, makes its way through Europe to set a strong exclamation mark for climate-friendly freight transport. The vision and initiative of the RFF coalition is to protect the environment and our planet. Transport is one of the biggest sources of CO2 pollution and greenhouse effect. Rail freight is the fastest and easiest way to cut down large amounts of CO2 emissions and air pollution. The major ambitions of the coalition include doubling the share of rail freight in Europe to 30%.

Project and its train will be presented on January 24 in Berlin, it will continue to Paris and its ride will end on February 20, 2019 in Brussels.
